TAT-AirAsia media trip to Chiang Mai, Bangkok &
Hua Hin
THE Tourism Authority of Thailand and AirAsia recently organised a media trip to Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Hua Hin to familiarise journalists with the various attractions found in these areas. While in Chiang Mai the journalists were taken to visit the Chiang Mai Night Safari, the Lanna Woodcarving Art Museum or Ban Roi An Phan Yang, Tha Pae Night Market and Ban Tawai handicraft village.
They also had the opportunity to tour the city of Chiang Mai in a tuk tuk. They later had a tour of Lampang, the neighbouring province, where they saw the town while travelling in a horse carriage. Earlier, they visited the Hug You Sheep Farm, Wat Phra That Lampang Luang and Ban Sao Nak before shopping at the Kat Kong Ta Walking Street.
The next day they left for Bangkok before proceeding to the seaside resort town of Hua Hin which is famous for its Night Market and the Wat Huai Mongkhon where the biggest statue of legendary monk, Luang Pu Thuad, is located. |
