Thais nationwide celebrates
King's birthday

Thai organizations are joining the nation in staging events to celebrate HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun's 66th birthday. The Thai government announced many of the King's birthday celebration activities to be held during July 22-28 at Sanam Luang and many other venues throughout the country.

The activities including alms-giving, praying, and public services which are expected to take place
throughout July in a display of loyalty and gratitude.

For this occasion, governmental personnel, their families and general public are also encouraged to wear yellow clothing when they take part in these activities.

The month of July is an auspicious month for Thai people. We are celebrating our beloved HM King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun's Birthday on 28th July 2018. There will be many events held throughout the country to celebrate this occasion. If you are visiting Thailand this month, you will witness this auspicious celebration and meet with many happy Thais wearing yellow-colour clothes, which is the King’s colour.

 
UBON RATCHATHANI CANDLE FESTIVAL

Date: 23 July 2018 - 28 July 2018

Venue: Thoung Sri Mueng, Amphoe Mueng, Ubon Ratchathani

The Candle Festival of Ubon Ratchathani province features a procession of ornately-carved traditional beeswax candles of various shapes and sizes.

 
AET BETONG TRIP

Date: 6th – 10th June 2018
Venue: Betong, Thailand

Going along with the policy of promoting Thailand’s second cities, TAT KL organized an AET Trip to Betong, “the city in the fog with beautiful flowers”. It is a town bordering Malaysia at the southernmost district of the Yala Province.
