Drum teacher venerated ceremony, mini light and sound show about "The Legend of Drum Village". Enjoy the festive drum performance and international cultures, Thai music play and poeng mang competition, Thai long-drum dance, Manora dance, and drum dance.
There are long drum contests, drum of victory show, culture festival, Thai culture to ASEAN show, the exhibition of Ang Thong's specialties, Thai and international drums "model city creative economy" OTOP products at reasonable price, and food festival.

THE 43RD ANNUAL NARATHIWAT'S KO LAE BOAT RACES
Date: 21 - 25 September 2018
Venue: Bang Nara River, Narathiwat
The "Ko-lae" boats are traditional fishing vessels commonly found in the Malay communities of
Southern Thailand. In the southern provinces of Thailand, the Thai Ko-lae Boat Race was first hosted in 1976 in honour of Their Majesties the King and Queen, when the Royal Family travelled to Narathiwat on a state visit. Since then, Ko-lae and long boat races have been organised as an annual event and has become one of the main attractions of the province.

RIVER KWAI HALF MARATHON 2018
Date: 9 September 2018
Venue: River Kwai Village, Kanchanaburi
This event is aimed to be a run for health; participants from Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan, USA, Europe, etc. will start the race from the River Kwai Village Hotel and run along Highway 323 (Sai Yok –Thong Pha Phoom) and back. This competition was initiated by the British Airways about 20 years ago. Jack F. Angel American was the first winner.
The race starts at the hotel and the runners will take Highway (323), turn left and return to the starting point. Breakfast is served after the race. The winner will receive a T-shirt designed by New Balance and a buckle instead of a medal. The ones who came 1st to 5th place will receive the trophies.

Muslim FAM trip for agents and media. The trip visited halal certified dining options and Muslim friendly destinations in Bangkok, Chantaburi, Trat and Rayong. |

THAILAND GOLF TRAVEL MART (TGTM) TRIP

Venue: Duangjit Resort & Spa, Phuket, Thailand
Thailand Golf Travel Mart (TGTM) was in Phuket this year. Hosted by Tourism Authority of Thailand, TGTM allowed buyers from around the world to build networking relationships with sellers from Thailand. The total number of buyers and seller was about 220 pax. The event was also capped off with a TAT Night and also a networking golf tournament. |

MITM KL 2018
Date: 3rd – 5th August 2018
Venue: Mid Valley Exhibition Centre (Midvec)
MITM is a travel fair organized by the Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA) and it was back in Kuala Lumpur once again. A lot of packages and interesting deals for visitors to travel are on offer. TAT KL exhibited its booth there to provide information regarding Thailand, together with great cultural performances on stage and Thai food demonstration at the booth! |
